Freya 1995 bay Hanoverian Mare In foal to Baladin d'Oc for April 2010 Sired by the Grand Prix stallion Flugzauber, sire of many proven dressage horses, including FC Fantasy and Freya. Her thoroughbred dam, Starting Over, carries two crosses to the great Turn-to, leading juvenile sire and a name found in many sport horse pedigrees today. Broodmare sire, Ground Breaker, also sired the 3 star eventer Half Magic, that was short listed for the World Equestrian Games in 1994, Pan Am Games in 1995 and European Championships in 1997. In 2005 Freya was presented to ISR/Oldenburg NA and received a total score of 99 points! She is a modern mare with exceptional elasticity at the trot. Produce record: 2005: Bacardi (chestnut ISR gelding by Baladin d'Oc) Premium foal,3rd high score at his inspection. Sold to a USDF Gold Medalist Scoring well in the 70's in dressage and FEI 4yo Test winner!! 2006: Brocade (dark bay ISR filly by Baladin d'Oc) Premium foal, Reserve champion filly at her inspection with a score 8.4! 2009: Winchester (bay ISR gelding by Wild Dance) In foal to Baladin d'Oc for April 2010!!! As a two and three-year old stallion, Baladin d'Oc was undefeated in France at the in-hand breeding shows. With his excellent conformation and paces, and outstanding temperament, he was sent from France to Germany to undergo Performance Testing at Adelheidsdorf. He earned superior marks, including scores of 9 on Walk and Trot, and was approved for breeding with the Hanoverian Verband as a refining stallion. While in Germany he began his dressage training, before being imported to the US in 1994. Here, he became an accomplished FEI dressage stallion, earning scores to 66.5% at Prix St. Georges. Among his many honors, he was named USDF Selle Francais Horse of the Year for both Third and Fourth Levels. $17,500, Financing will be considered.
